Luci La La is all about reducing industry waste and prolonging the life of clothing. Here are some suggestions to give your Luci garments a long and fresh life.
Washing
Delicate machine wash cycles are always recommended for Luci garments, all garments really. Pants and jackets generally don’t get that dirty with every wear, so try spot cleaning as a first resort and get as many wears as you can out of them before needing to wash them.
Washing clothing does slowly degrade them overtime as is expected, however this can be slowed down with more gentle wash cycles using cold water. This will give your garments the best chance of staying ‘new' for longer and is less likely to cause fabric shrinkage and damage.
Drying
Line drying is the best way to keep your garments from shrinking and ensuring their longevity.
Clothes dryers are not recommended for any Luci product.
Wool
Dry cleaning is your safest bet when cleaning wool garments, however this isn’t viable for everyone and a cold hand wash or gentle wool washing machine cycle with wool detergent should be absolutely fine. Dry wool garments flat across the clothes line.
Never put a wool product on a normal machine cycle or in a clothes dryer. It will probably shrink and distort shape if you do.
